Description of The German Angora rabbit:

Currently, this breed is not sanctioned by ARBA although some German Angora owners exhibit their rabbits  in the "Giant Angora" class at ARBA shows.

Amber Kasten, of AmberAngora, tells me she "finds them to be the highest standard for spinners and fiber artists, due to their incredible wool production."

The German Angora is judged under the German standard of points, more details can be found at the International Association of German Angora Rabbit Breeders website.

Breed Specialty Clubs

Dedicated to the preservation of the German Angora breed and the development of a commercial angora wool market in the United States and Canada.
