No updates over this coming weekend

Hi everyone, I'll be out of town over the weekend of May 20-21 so there will be no updates or addtions to our directory.

I currently have 6 new listings waiting to be put in also....I expect to have these done on Monday or Tuesday of next week.

Go ahead and send in your new listings or changes if you'd like, I'll just be delayed getting all in.

thanks,
Cathy

Directory Updates

Hi everyone, yesterday morning I was able to get some of the updates and changes done to listings in our directory - but have more to do yet!

I'll email each breeder after the changes reqested, are done!

I think it has rained for almost 2 weeks straight here, ok, I might be exaggerating a bit, but come on....dry up any day now!

Mother's Day Weekend

This is another busy weekend here - Saturday is filled with soccer games, bunny and horse chores, plus all the other activities that are crammed into weekends such as laundry, house cleaning and grocery shopping......... Sunday we have a rabbit show in Dodgeville, Wisconsin to go to, and believe me, we are going! We've had to pass up too many shows already this spring due to other commitments.

April and May, and again September and October, are by far, my busiest months due to the sports my sons are both in. Normally I spend a couple hours every morning working on the directory website, but during these months I find my computer time drastically cut short!

I have received several requests this week, to upgrade and change existing listings in our directory. Don't worry - I have all your emails and will get your changes done, but realistically not until Monday morning.

Some improvements to The Rabbit & Cavy Directory are planned for summer too; The Directory has grown larger than I imagined it would so now I need to break down all the alphabetical breeder listing pages so each loads fast, plus reconfigure the Breed Gallery pages to speed up those too.

A good friend of mine donated new software to me also! This software, once I learn how to use it, will enable me to really enhance this website. I'll be able to finally make the club listing pages which I had planned to make as a self-submit feature so clubs can keep their info up-to-date and announce upcoming shows. I am hoping to get going on this during summer, but we'll have to see, more likely the long winter nights will be more conducive to integrating new features into this website!

Well that's all I wanted to comment on. Thanks for your patience and understanding, and thanks so much for visiting our Directory!

May 1 Website additions and updates

How frustrating to work on putting several new breeder listings and make changes and updates to some listings, then not be able to upload to my server this morning! That is how my morning went so far.....I keep trying to upload but so far its a no-go for some reason.

Sorry to those I emailed this morning with news that they are now in the directory - have some patience until I resolve this problem with my host, until then, I've got to get off to my paying job!

I'll try again when I get home tonight.
